Secretary Hosemann appointed Chairman of Republican Secretaries of State Committee

Jackson--Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann has been appointed Honorary Chairman of the Republican Secretaries of State Committee.

"As Honorary Chairman, I am so pleased to lead an organization dedicated to electing public officials with conservative principles," says Secretary Hosemann.  "Our nation faces a decline in traditional beliefs and sound fiscal management.  We need to elect leaders nationwide who have the integrity to protect our vote and who strengthen those core philosophies."

"I congratulate Delbert on his new role with the Republican Secretaries of State," says Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour.  "I know he will be an asset in helping recruit more conservative state leaders across the country."

As Honorary Chairman for the Republican Secretaries of State Committee, Secretary Hosemann will assist the organization in recruiting stellar Republicans.

The Republican Secretaries of State Committee is a program of the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC).  The RSLC represents the largest caucus of state leaders in the country and is the only national organization whose mission is electing Republicans to the offices of Secretary of State, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and State Legislator.  The RSLC serves as the umbrella organization for the Republican Secretaries of State Committee, the Republican Attorneys General Association, the Republican Legislative Campaign Committee, and the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association.
